HGV Class 1 Driver Trunking and Multi-Drop Warrington, Cheshire People Solutions are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 1 Driver based in Warrington, Cheshire to join our well-established client. Shifts AM starts between 04:0006:00 PM starts between 18:0020:00 Rates of Pay Days: 17.39 per hour Nights: 18.39 per hour Benefits Excellent hourly rates Ongoing work Weekly pay On-site canteen Training provided Immediate starts Employee well-being programme Day-to-Day Duties Trunking work, depot-to-depot, with occasional store deliveries Operate and drive Category C+E vehicles safely and efficiently Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections Ensure all goods are loaded and secured properly Adhere to traffic laws and regulations Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers Report any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management Assist with loading and unloading of goods when required Essential Skills Valid UK Category C+E Licence Minimum 6 months' experience driving C+E vehicles No more than six penalty points for minor infringements and no major endorsement codes Valid UK CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card Good spoken and written English Punctuality and excellent time-keeping skills Good understanding of traffic laws and regulations Effective communication skills Desirable Experience Experience driving any commercial vehicles would be beneficial Training Provided Driver assessment must be completed prior to starting One-day paid induction after successful assessment Apply If you are ready to take on this exciting opportunity, apply today by clicking the link below or get in touch with our recruitment team to find out more.
