My client is looking for a mid–senior Desktop Support Engineer to join a fast-paced technology team supporting a demanding user base in a high-performance environment.This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working close to the business, taking ownership of issues end-to-end, and contributing beyond pure support. The role offers exposure to a broad range of technologies and the opportunity to be involved in project work alongside core systems and infrastructure teams.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide high-quality 1st/2nd line desktop and end-user supportSupport Windows 10/11 and the Microsoft 365 suite (Outlook, Excel, SharePoint, OneDrive)Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issuesSupport financial and market data applications (e.g., Bloomberg)Perform desk setups, workstation builds, and hardware break/fixWork closely with infrastructure and systems teams on upgrades and projectsContribute to documentation, process improvement, and automation initiativesRequired Experience & Skills4–12 years of relevant desktop / end-user support experienceExperience in fast-paced environments; financial services experience preferred but not essentialStrong Windows desktop support experience and Microsoft stack knowledgeExcellent troubleshooting skills across hardware, OS, and applicationsComfortable working in smaller, agile teams with a high degree of responsibilityExposure to PowerShell scripting is advantageousBasic understanding of TCP/IP and general networking conceptsStrong communication skills and a service-oriented mindsetTo apply: directly submit your CV to this job posting or email to jimmy.xu@.
