Someone who enjoys breaking things (thoughtfully), understands how real people use products, and is excited by the idea of shaping the future of corporate eating.You’ll work closely with product, engineering, and operations to make sure what we ship works seamlessly — from menus and dietary filters to ordering, delivery, and billing.What you'll be doing Own end-to-end manual testing across customer-facing and internal toolsLead regression testing ahead of releasesTest real-world user journeys (ordering food, dietary needs, cut-off times, payments, admin workflows)Create and maintain structured test plans, test cases, and release checklistsIdentify edge cases and challenge assumptions earlyLog clear, actionable bugs with reproduction steps and contextWork closely with engineers to validate fixesHelp shape and improve our QA process as the platform scalesIdentify where automation adds real value and help introduce it thoughtfullyWhat we're looking for Experience in a QA / Test Engineer or similar roleStrong understanding of modern web applications and APIsA product-led mindset with a sharp eye for detailComfortable in a fast-moving startup environmentClear communicator across technical and non-technical teamsA genuine interest in food, hospitality, or building better workplace experiencesTesting tools and technologies Experience with some of the following, or a strong willingness to learn:Manual & exploratory testingRegression and smoke testingUser journey and edge-case testingAutomation & JS-based toolsPlaywright or Cypress for end-to-end testingJest or Vitest for unit or integration testsTesting Library for component-level testingSupporting toolsAPI testing (Postman, Insomnia)Bug tracking and workflow tools (Notion, Linear, GitHub Issues)Cross-browser and device testingExperience with Selenium is welcome, but we primarily work with modern JavaScript-based testing tools.Bonus points if you Have written or maintained automated tests in a JS / TypeScript codebaseHave experience testing Vue or other modern JS frameworksHave worked on B2B platforms, marketplaces, or operationally complex productsCare deeply about food, hospitality, and how shared meals bring people togetherBenefits to working at &DineJoin our options pool and be a business owner!£250 learning and development budget.
