We are looking for a motivated and proactive Sales Assistant / Sales Consultant to join our Sales Team within a manufacturing environment. This role plays a key part in managing sales opportunities, supporting customers with accurate quotations, and working closely with internal departments to ensure customer requirements are met from enquiry through to completion.This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop a career in B2B sales, with strong support, training, and progression opportunities available.Key ResponsibilitiesProactively open, manage, and regularly update opportunities within the CRM sales pipeline, following each through to conclusionWork closely with internal Departments to produce accurate quotations aligned with customer needsMonitor and manage personal KPIs and sales targetsAttend a weekly 1:1 Monday meeting with the Sales Manager to review performance, pipeline activity, and developmentAct as a team player within the Sales Department, supporting colleagues and contributing to a balanced and sustainable workloadWork with the Sales Manager and Business Development team to arrange and attend customer visits where required, helping to build product knowledge, experience, and long-term relationshipsDemonstrate a willingness to learn and develop through various training opportunities, including:Sales training (B2B sales, negotiation skills, relationship development)Technical training (product training)On-the-job training (customer visits, exhibitions)Comply with and actively promote Blackhall’s HOTTIP culture expectations Previous experience in sales, internal sales, customer service, or a manufacturing/technical environment is desirableStrong communication and organisational skillsConfident working with CRM systems and sales pipelinesA proactive, target-driven mindset with good attention to detailWillingness to learn technical products and manufacturing processesA collaborative team player with a positive and professional attitude Key PurposeTo make a positive contribution to the Sales Team by driving sales intake through meeting customer needs, providing accurate and competitive quotations in a helpful, professional, and customer-focused mannerSalaryCompetitive.
