The role also carries responsibility for leading a small team of three engineers on day-to-day activities. Travel outside Heathrow is typically no more than one or two days at a time.Day-to-day responsibilities include:Repairing and maintaining two-way radio equipmentInstalling and maintaining radios in vehiclesSupporting desktop radio systems with ground-to-air capabilityInstalling and maintaining indoor DAS systemsSupporting radio infrastructure, primarily Simoco and Hytera, with some MotorolaFault-finding and resolving radio communication issues on live operational systemsCompany vans are provided. A standby rota is in place and already staffed. Overtime is limited.
