Mechanical Design Engineers (Outside of IR35) Certain Advantage is hiring for Mechanical Design Engineers based in the Huddersfield area . This role is on a contract basis and is hybrid-based. The Company Were working with an engineering company specialising in solving complex engineering challenges across industriesfrom Power Generation, Rail and more. The Role: This role is for Mechanical Design Engineerssomeone ambitious and ready to make an impact. Youll be results-oriented and driven to succeed. Youll be leading a small, experienced, and collaborative team, and be responsible for: Detailed design Material selection, hand calculation, rotor dynamics Conceptual design, 3D and 2D modelling BOM and gear data generation Concession/Non-conformance assessment and resolution The Individual Were looking for people who can show: Structural design practices and methodologies Design for heavy industry, power transmission systems, gear or gearboxes 3D CAD package, ideally Solid Edge Educational background to a degree level in Engineering or a related field The Benefits: Hourly rate circa 48 (Outside of IR35) Training and Development Career progression Does this sound like your next career move?
