We are excited to have partnered once again with a long-standing client of ours, who are looking for an experienced Account Director (Events & Hospitality) to lead a major multi-national client across a long-standing global partnership programme.This role plays a critical part in shaping and delivering high-profile sponsorships and live experiences, with a strong focus on hospitality, events, and partnership activation. The Account Director will provide strategic leadership across the account, manage senior stakeholder relationships, and ensure exceptional delivery across all activations.Please note - this is a London-based role and includes international travel, with attendance at multiple global events each year.Key ResponsibilitiesAct as the day-to-day client lead, managing senior stakeholders including rights holders, agencies, suppliers, and partnersLead the strategic development and delivery of partnership activations across multiple international marketsOversee the integrated account team, ensuring collaboration and operational excellence across all workstreamsManage the overall health of the account, ensuring delivery against both client and agency objectivesProvide senior leadership across the account and lead on-site delivery as part of the event team when requiredOwn annual budget negotiations and financial management, including budget setting, reconciliation, and client reportingOversee activation success metrics, internal tracking tools, regular updates, and post-event recapsIdentify and develop opportunities for account growth, including proposals for additional servicesBuild and maintain strong, long-term client relationships founded on trust and strategic valueWork closely with internal teams to ensure effective resource planning and project managementSkills & Experience RequiredSignificant experience within a global agency or client-side role in sports, entertainment, lifestyle, or experiential marketingStrong experience delivering hospitality-led events and partnership activations at a global or multi-market levelProven track record of delivering high-quality, complex live experiencesSenior-level client relationship management experience, including working with C-suite stakeholdersExcellent financial management skills, including budgeting, reconciliation, and reportingExperience using performance evaluation tools and activation success metricsOutstanding communication and interpersonal skillsStrong organisational ability with confidence managing multiple projects and workstreamsAdvanced PowerPoint and Excel skillsIf this sounds like your next role, we’d love to hear from you – please apply now!
