Serving their customers through diverse business units, KBR offer challenging assignments on some of the world's largest and most complex projects.We are looking to recruit a Lead Structural Designer on a 10-month contract, based in Leatherhead, SurreyOn OfferCompetitive hourly pay rateInside IR35 work engagementHybrid working; 3 days in office, 2 days from homeNB. We can only consider candidates with the right to live and work in the UKPurpose of the RoleTo support the lead engineer, liaising with other disciplines, client and vendors and coordinating and working with project team members across global offices to deliver the tasks within allotted timelines and budgets.Skills / ExperienceCivil and Structural Designer with a formal qualificationsMinimum experience of 10 years Proficient in the use of Smart Plant 3D and be able to provide advice / Guidance to junior designers Ability to manage a team of designers located overseasCreation of project specific job notes, guides and training material to support consistent deliverablesOrganising schedules and resources within the team to achieve required deliverables to project deadlines Breaking project tasks down to drawing level and estimating resources required to complete milestonesCompetent in the use Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and PowerPointWork efficiently and effectively in identifying priorities and be agile in addressing emerging urgent issues as they ariseWork both independently and in a multi-disciplinary team environmentWork in an office based roleIf the above opportunity describes you, then I would love to speak with you, get in touch 01372 862020 / matt.smith@.
