Mechanical Engineer (Heating & Ventilation)Location: Dungeness Power StationContract: Permanent, Full-Time (37.5 hours per week)Salary: CompetitiveAbout the RoleDalkia UK is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer (Heating & Ventilation) to join our on-site team at Dungeness Power Station, supporting our long-term partnership with EDF.This is a hands-on, technically demanding role within a highly regulated, industrial environment. You’ll play a key part in maintaining critical heating and ventilation systems that support one of the UK’s most important energy generation sites. This role is ideal for a practical engineer who values safety, reliability, and technical excellence.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across a broad range of heating and ventilation systems, including heavy plant equipmentDiagnose, fault-find, and resolve mechanical issues arising from helpdesk requests and operational reportsCarry out servicing and maintenance of Heating and ventilation systems across the stationMaintain and repair mechanical plant such as pumps, fans, filters, motors, drives, and heater coilsEnsure all work complies with strict health, safety, and quality standards in line with nuclear site requirementsActively participate in training and competency development to maintain site authorisations and industry certificationsAbout YouYou’re a time-served, hands-on Mechanical Engineer with proven experience maintaining heating and ventilation systems in an industrial setting.
