**Area Specification Manager – Market Leading Manufacturer – South West**We’re working with a market-leading manufacturer that’s growing fast, employs over 1,000 people worldwide, and has a solid structure in place. They’re looking for someone proactive, hands-on, and experienced in specification to join the team and help take their business to the next level.The Role:You’ll be responsible for driving growth across your territory, including:Developing and executing a territory plan to achieve around £1m turnoverFinding and developing new contractors, distributors, and projectsBuilding strong relationships with contractors, installers, and distributorsGenerating and converting specifications—from spec generation to spec breakingPromoting the full product rangeManaging the full sales cycle from first contact to repeat businessKeeping your pipeline and forecasts up to dateNegotiating pricing and commercial terms within agreed frameworksWho We’re Looking For:You’ll fit well in this role if you:Have sales or business development experience in building materials or related productsAlready have a contractor network in your areaAre confident at finding and winning new businessCan work independently and manage a territoryHave specification sales experienceAre comfortable discussing targets, budgets, and marginsAre motivated, resilient, and hands-onAre great at building relationships and presenting yourselfAre results-focused and enjoy seeing tangible impact from your workWhat’s On Offer:Salary: £55,000 - £60,000 (negotiable)Bonus scheme (paid quarterly and annually)Company Car or Car Allowance25 days annual leave + bank holidaysCompany credit cardPension & life assuranceThis is a great opportunity to join a growing, market-leading company where the focus is on your attitude and drive, not just your CV.
