Salary: £37k a year with uncapped commissionRole OverviewWe are looking for a proactive and driven Business Development Manager to spearhead growth in the construction security sector, specialising in integrated security solutions. This is a field/office based role requiring strong B2B sales skills, on-the-road prospecting, and end-to-end sales management, from initial contact to project delivery.Key ResponsibilitiesProspecting & Lead Generation:Identify and target construction companies, contractors, and site managers for security solutions.Conduct on-the-road prospecting and cold visits to construction sites and offices.Client Engagement & Relationship Building:Arrange and attend face-to-face meetings with decision-makers.Build long-term relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor for their security needs.Site Surveys & Solution Design:Undertake detailed site surveys to assess security requirements.Recommend tailored solutions, including mobile CCTV towers and integrated security systems.Sales Process Management:Prepare and deliver accurate quotes and proposals.Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact through to contract signing and handover.Market Development:Stay informed on construction security trends and competitor offerings.Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional security services.Reporting & Performance:Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline, and forecasts.Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.ExperienceProven experience in B2B sales, ideally within construction security or related sectors.Strong knowledge of Mobile CCTV Units, IP CCTV systems, access control, and integrated security solutions.Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and travel extensively.Full UK driving license.Key CompetenciesSelf-motivated and target-driven.Strong technical understanding of security systems.Exceptional relationship-building skills.Ability to deliver under pressure and meet deadlines.Why Join Us?Work with innovative security technologies tailored for the construction industry.Competitive salary, commission structure, and company vehicle.Career progression opportunities in a growing sector
