Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Business Development Representative (BDR) to join a dynamic team supporting growth in the ERP and retail technology space. In this role, you will be responsible for qualifying and nurturing leads generated by marketing, ensuring a strong pipeline of opportunities, and handing them over to the sales team.You will thrive in a solution-led sales environment, ideally with experience in retail software, ERP, or Microsoft ecosystems, and be confident engaging with senior stakeholders.Key ResponsibilitiesLead Qualification & NurturingEngage with inbound and outbound marketing leads via phone, email, social, and digital channelsQualify prospects based on industry fit, needs, budget, timeline, and decision-makersNurture early-stage opportunities to progress them to Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs)Maintain accurate records in Hubspot CRMSales & Marketing AlignmentProvide feedback on campaign performance and lead qualityCollaborate with Sales Executives to ensure smooth handover of qualified opportunitiesSupport outbound initiatives, targeted campaigns, and account-based marketing activitiesAssist in refining lead qualification processes and messagingEvents & Brand PresenceSupport trade shows, exhibitions, partner events, and conferencesEngage with attendees, qualify leads on-site, and ensure effective follow-upRepresent the company professionally as a brand ambassadorReporting & InsightsReport on pipeline activity, lead conversion rates, and qualification outcomesShare market insights, competitor activity, and customer feedback with the Sales & Marketing DirectorExperience & Skills Required5+ years in a Business Development, SDR, or Inside Sales roleExperience in B2B software, ERP, SaaS, or Microsoft partner environmentsStrong understanding of lead qualification and sales pipelinesConfident communicator with experience engaging senior decision-makersHighly organised with attention to detailCollaborative, commercially minded, and proactiveResilient and target-drivenStrong relationship-building and active listening skillsDesirableExperience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business CentralKnowledge of LS Retail or retail/hospitality solutionsFamiliarity with Hubspot CRMExperience supporting or attending trade shows and industry eventsInterested?
