Job Description Senior Financial Accounting Lead Yorkshire (Hybrid) 12 months FTC £70K-£90K + Package / £500-£600 per day Are you an experienced finance professional with a passion for technical accounting and external reporting? We're looking for a seasoned expert to lead the preparation of consolidated financial statements and drive best practice reporting across a complex, multi-entity group. In this pivotal role, you'll: /t - Oversee year-end and half-year group reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with IFRS. /t - Act as the go-to technical accounting advisor for new standards and business initiatives. /t - Manage the external audit process and maintain strong relationships with auditors. /t - Own group accounting policies and contribute to key Board and Audit Committee papers. /t - Champion continuous improvement in reporting processes and controls. What we're looking for: /t - Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) with significant post-qualification experience. /t - Strong IFRS expertise and proven ability to manage audits end-to-end. /t - Exceptional communication skills and stakeholder management experience. /t - Background in a Big 4 or mid-tier audit firm is highly desirable.
