This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic environment with a strong focus on safety, compliance and technical excellence.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform TIG welding operations to a range of steel and stainless-steel componentsPerform assigned tasks in a professional manner with emphasis on safetyMake entries on technical records documenting work performed, including recording references to the technical data usedPerforming of any other duties within your capabilities as directed by the CompanyCandidate RequirementsMust be proficient in TIG weldingMust hold or have held a recognised welding qualification (BCAR A8-10 would be desirable, AWS D17.1 or BS EN9606 would be advantageous)Possess the ability to obtain approval to BCAR A8-10 in the required material groups and configurationsPrevious experience in the aerospace industry is desirable but not essentialEngineering hand skills with the ability to carry out blend repairs and minor adjustmentsRight to work in the UKWhy Work with JMC Aviation?At JMC Aviation, we specialise in aviation recruitment across engineering services and training to airlines, MROs and OEMs, leasing and asset management companies, and component overhaul organisations.
