TEXO Recruitment are sourcing for a Technical Engineer for construction work across the North-East of Scotland. This role is a full-time, permanent role offering an immediate start. The suitable candidate will support the delivery of high-quality infrastructure projects. You’ll act as the bridge between design and construction, ensuring all technical aspects of projects are accurate, buildable, and compliant with specifications and standards.This role ensures high-quality delivery, accurate setting-out, and effective coordination of construction,Daily Duties and Tasks:Provide technical support to site teams to ensure works are buildable, safe, and compliantConduct setting-out and site surveys to support construction activitiesPrepare, review, and maintain technical documentation, method statements, and quality recordsCoordinate with designers, consultants, temporary works engineers, and construction teams to resolve technical queriesLead engineering teams in setting-out, site surveys, and quality inspectionsPrepare, review, and manage ITPs, method statements, and quality recordsProvide technical input for NEC early warnings, design changes, and risk assessmentsCandidate Requirements: Proven experience within a similar Technical role within the construction industryStrong knowledge of quality processesAbility to use AutoCAD and GPS equipment
