This isn't just a retail role; it’s about taking the reins of an exclusive four-month pop-up residency in the heart of Chelsea. Stripe & Stare is on a mission to prove that sustainable fashion is the ultimate luxury, and we need a high-impact leader to be the face of this pop-up. You’ll be responsible for launching the space, building a high-energy team from scratch, and ensuring our /"tree-to-knicker/" magic translates into a world-class boutique experience. We are a fast-growing, sustainable fashion business, known for making the most comfortable knickers in the world, from trees! Barking mad, right? Alongside our ‘flagship’ knickers, we also sell supremely comfortable PJs, bras, and other clothing layers. Our business is primarily e-commerce based, selling D2C in the UK and abroad, with a growing US market. Our customers also buy direct from our wholesale network partners including Selfridges and multiple independent boutiques in the UK and Nordstrom and Shopbop in the US. Our people are the reason for our continued success. Our team strengthens our business. We are delighted to be launching a pop-up store on the Kings Road in Chelsea, London, from 1st February to 8th June 2026 (operating 7 days per week) and are looking for a professional and experienced Manager.ROLE DESCRIPTIONWe are seeking a full-time Pop-Up Shop Manager to lead and oversee our pop-up retail space in London. In this on-site role, you will manage daily store operations, provide exceptional customer service, and ensure an outstanding shopping experience. Key responsibilities include overseeing store setup and visuals, leading and training staff, maintaining inventory levels, and driving sales. You will represent the Stripe & Stare brand with passion and creativity, ensuring smooth operations and embodying our commitment to fun and sustainable fashion.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Boutique Leadership: Total accountability for the day-to-day operations of our Chelsea pop-up.Team Growth: Recruit, train, and inspire a small team of assistants to deliver world-class service.The /"Stripe & Stare/" Experience: Ensure the shop is a fun, welcoming, and educational space for customers to learn about our wood-pulp fabrics.Sales & KPIs: Drive conversion and average basket value while maintaining a /"service-over-selling/" mindset.Visual Excellence: Manage the visual merchandising to ensure the store is always “Instagram-ready”.Logistics: Oversee stock deliveries, inventory management, and reporting back to HQ.REQUIREMENTS:Proven experience as a Retail Manager (Premium/Luxury lifestyle preferred).A passion for sustainability and the ability to explain it simply.Tech-savvy with POS systems and inventory software.Excellent organisational and multitasking abilitiesCommercial awareness and sales-driven mindsetStrong communication and interpersonal skillsExperience in visual merchandising and stock managementProblem-solving skills and ability to work independentlyBENEFITS25 days holiday plus public holidays (pro-rated)Extra day off for your birthdayMonthly allowance for S&S clothingPensionSales Incentive
