Registered Manager – Supported Living (LD, Autism & Complex Needs)Location: BirminghamSalary: £40,300 per annumHours: 37 hours per weekContract: PermanentRole OverviewWe are seeking an experienced and values-led Registered Manager to lead two supported living services in Birmingham, delivering high-quality, person-centred care for adults with learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs.This is a senior leadership role with full accountability for quality, compliance, performance, and financial viability, ensuring services consistently meet CQC standards and deliver positive outcomes for the people supported.About the ServicesYou will oversee two established supported living services for adults with learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs.One service supports up to five individuals in a residential setting with 24/7 care and support, focusing on empowerment, independence, and meaningful daily living.The second service supports three individuals, providing consistent, personalised support for people with learning disabilities, autism, and behaviours that may challenge.Across both services, dedicated staff teams are available around the clock to promote independence, confidence, choice, and person-centred outcomes.Key ResponsibilitiesAs the Registered Manager, you will:Deliver high-quality, personalised care and supportEnsure full compliance with CQC regulations and Key Lines of EnquiryLead, motivate, and develop staff teams through supervision, appraisal, and trainingBe accountable for service quality, compliance, occupancy, and budgetsPromote a strong, customer-centred and outcome-focused cultureUse data and performance tools to manage financial and operational performanceWork with senior leaders to adapt and develop service modelsLead inspections, audits, and regulatory reportingParticipate in the out-of-hours rota, including evenings and weekends as requiredAbout YouYou will be a confident, compassionate, and capable leader with:NVQ Level 5 in Health & Social Care (or above)Proven experience as a Registered Manager or Service ManagerExperience supporting people with learning disabilities, autism, and complex needsStrong knowledge of CQC requirements and regulatory frameworksExperience managing Local Authority (LA) and CHC funded servicesBudget management and financial performance experienceExcellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skillsConfidence using IT systems, including MS TeamsA full UK driving licence and willingness to travel locallyEnhanced DBS (provided)What’s on Offer£40,300 per annumFlexible and supportive working culture25 days annual leave, increasing to 30 daysAdditional day off for your birthdayPension scheme with up to 6% employer contribution24/7 online GP access, mental health and wellbeing supportEmployee Assistance Programme (EAP)Cycle to Work schemeBlue Light discount eligibilityOccupational sick payHow to ApplyIf you are a passionate and experienced Registered Manager looking to make a meaningful difference, apply now with your CV for a confidential discussion.
