looking for candidates with first-rate experience delivering high-quality, integrated client work within an agency environment and proven experience devising and executing marcomms strategies for corporate clients across financial services, property, tech, healthcare and/or professional services. Management: Acting as the main point of contact for clients and building their trust  Taking overall responsibility for the management of workflow across the account, while also mentoring SAEs to take on this role Alerting senior team members to pressures, deadlines or issues on accounts, whilst proactively putting forward solutions Ensuring junior team members are delivering to deadlines and to standard required, increasingly without oversight/sign off of more senior team members Taking on increased responsibility for wider capacity monitoring across the agency, ensuring junior team members are managing workloads appropriately or work is redistributed as required Acting as first point of contact for team members for queries and copy review Proactively ensuring team executes and delivers account administration on time, including EOW reports/monthly activity reports, coverage documents etc and overseeing the quality of these deliverables without senior team input Ensuring timely briefing of clients and regularly updating them on activity, such as announcements, campaigns and managing correspondence to ensure varied voices across the team engage with client Exhibiting understanding of and sensitivity to changing client priorities and pressures, demonstrating effective ability to help them problem solve and align business and comms strategies and objectives Proactively handling any issues with clients or accounts, demonstrating solutions-led approach and clear problem-solving abilities  Taking on line management of AEs, helping to develop clear goals and progress tracking  Proactively suggesting and initiating new procedures and standard practices to improve the quality of Sapience work   Attitude: Serving as an enthusiastic role model to junior team members, providing proactive guidance, support and feedback Maintaining can-do approach and cool head in moments of pressure or challenging circumstances and stepping up to challenges when they arise Showcasing a strong work ethic and ownership of account workload and ensuring this attitude is demonstrated by more junior team members  Encouraging an ethos of friendliness and conscientiousness across the team, supporting team members, offering help and maintaining strong collegiality  Delivering feedback constructively, but firmly where required   Delivery: Confidently leading the delivery of strategic counsel to clients to aid their PR and wider marketing campaigns Taking leading role in the development and planning of client strategies and comms plans, on annual, quarterly basis, with clear understanding of how to position agency work in line with client objectives Leading in the development of innovative and creative ideas for clients to support high levels of quality activity and supporting others to deliver to this standard Demonstrating consistent and robust understanding of client sector issues, news and trends and ability to capitalise on this expertise quickly and effectively  Leading and initiating team brainstorms and developing news angles, stories and pitches Showing clear understanding and appreciation of client KPIs and expectations and holding team to account on these, increasing confidence in the development of these targets internally and together with clients Excellent writing skills across range of media requiring little to no senior team input and ability to coach junior team members to the same standard Demonstrating clear understanding and proven experience of integrated marcomms programmes and appreciation for how digital initiatives can join up with PR Overseeing management of integrated activity coordinating across different team members and confidently relaying progress to clients Showcasing understanding of agency capabilities and ability to communicate this persuasively to upsell to current and potential clients Exhibiting clear commercial understanding of accounts resourcing and activity against fees and showing confidence in flagging over or underservicing to senior team members    New business:Taking leading role in the development and management of new business projects, providing clear guidance and quality control for junior team members Demonstrating clarity and confidence during new business pitches Robust understanding and ability to articulate breadth of Sapience services Increasing level of proactive support for Sapience new business efforts (e.g. campaign ideas, potential target identification, representation at events) Ability to execute new business activity without oversight or guidance of more senior
