Mechanical Fitter – High Voltage Projects (UK travel) Permanent | OTE up to £60k + profit shareWe’re working with a well-established, 100% employee-owned Tier 1 high-voltage contractor that’s busy and growing fast. They need an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join their HV installation teams on major substation, renewable and grid projects up to 132 kV.What you’ll actually be doingAssembling outdoor HV plant – substations, switchgear, transformers, steelworkOxy-propane brazing and exothermic welding (Cadweld)Ductor testing, torque checks, inspections and quality sign-offMentoring and guiding less experienced fittersSupporting the wider electrical installation team when requiredRepresenting the company professionally and living the safety-first cultureWhat you need5+ years proven experience as a Mechanical FitterStrong oxy-propane brazing and exothermic welding skillsExperience on new-build HV switchgear/substation projects is a big plusGood working knowledge of BS7671 is an advantageHappy to mentor and lead by exampleFull UK driving licence and able to travel/stay away when neededRight to work in the UKThe money & perksOTE up to £60k (basic + regular paid OT + travel time)Annual profit-share every yearCar allowance OR company vehicle25 days holiday + banks (option to buy more)Private medical + cashplanPension, life coverFunded training & qualificationsAll PPE, tools and decent workwear suppliedReal progression – they grow their own foremen and supervisorsAbout BMR Solutions:BMR Solutions operates as an Employment Business and Employment Agency.
