Job Description Job Title: Linux Administrator Location: On site - Stevenage Duration: 6 months Rate: £475 per day inside ir35 SC security clearance is required for this role Key Responsibilities Application support, including installation and upgrades Provision of HPC resources (mainly for system engineering, eg Matlab) Infrastructure administration (Red Hat Linux/Kickstart/VM Ware Systems) Information Management, in liaison with support groups (Data Centre Service, Networks) Hardware diagnostics Shell Scripting Management, investigation and resolution of support tickets within the SLA System updates (applications, Middleware, database) Required Skills & Experience Linux Administration: RHEL or similar (very strong practical application and experience) Ansible (very strong practical application and experience) Network Protocols (strong practical application and experience) Git (strong practical application and experience) Documentation skills (strong practical application and experience) Red Hat IDM VMWare Podman Desirable Skills Jenkins Storage area networks concepts Redhat Satellite Server Infrastructure monitoring (CheckMK) Software install (3rd party software) CENTOS (Legacy versions) Basic Knowledge of Gitlab LDAP/Active Directory If you are interested in this role or wish to apply, please feel free to submit your CV.
