M Pro Recruitment is working with a well-established materials handling equipment provider to recruit an experienced Workshop Engineer to join their Cranbrook depot. The Role: Youll be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and preparation of forklifts and materials handling equipment in a busy workshop environment. This hands-on role ensures all equipment is fully operational, safe, and ready for customer use. Key Responsibilities: Service, repair, and maintain forklifts and other MHE in the workshop Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults Carry out pre-delivery inspections and prepare equipment for use Maintain accurate workshop records and documentation Work closely with field engineers and support the wider team Requirements: Proven experience working on forklifts or materials handling equipment Mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical troubleshooting skills Full UK driving licence Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong organisational and problem-solving skills Package: Salary up to 38,000 depending on experience Monday to Friday working hours Career development and ongoing training opportunities TPBN1_UKTJ
