Main Role and Responsibilities Reporting to the Network Manager, you will support the day-to-day operation of IT systems across the organisation. Key Duties Installing and maintaining software on IT systems Supporting computer usage during lunchtimes and outside of normal teaching hours Assisting administrative staff with MIS systems and Microsoft Office applications Providing IT support to teaching staff, including classroom computers and ICT devices Supporting users across the network, including Windows and Macintosh environments Managing IT provision within learning resource areas and departmental locations Installing and removing projectors, laptops and AV equipment as required Assisting with the development and maintenance of internal and external websites Supervisory Responsibilities None Decision Making Using initiative where appropriate within established procedures Applying good judgement and common sense in day-to-day tasks Responsibility for Assets and Information Maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information relating to students, staff and families Ensuring the safe use, storage and care of IT equipment and materials Taking general responsibility for equipment within designated areas Working Relationships Regular interaction with staff across all departments Working closely with the IT team and wider organisation Supporting the Organisation Supporting teaching, learning and achievement through effective IT and AV provision Complying with all relevant policies and procedures Contributing positively to the organisations ethos, values and objectives Participating in training, learning activities and performance development Recognising your own strengths and supporting others where appropriate You may also be asked to undertake additional duties appropriate to the level and nature of the role.
