Project Engineer – Industrial / Metals (Engineering & Commercial Focus)We are working with a major industrial engineering organisation delivering complex projects into heavy manufacturing and metals environments.This role would suit a Project Engineer who combines strong technical capability with a commercial mindset, and who enjoys being involved in both project delivery and customer-facing activity.The role:Deliver engineering projects from initial enquiry and concept through to installation, commissioning and handoverAct as the technical interface between customers, internal engineering teams, suppliers and site operationsSupport pre-sales and tender activity, providing technical input, scoping, feasibility and cost supportAttend customer meetings, site surveys and technical reviewsProduce and manage technical documentation, specifications, drawings and project plansEnsure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to quality standardsIdentify opportunities for additional works, upgrades or value-added solutions during project executionWhat we’re looking for:HNC / HND or higher in Mechanical, Electrical or related Engineering disciplineExperience delivering projects within heavy engineering, metals, manufacturing or industrial plant environmentsExposure to customer-facing engineering roles, technical sales support or tenderingStrong commercial awareness with the confidence to discuss technical solutions with customersExcellent communication skills with the ability to influence technical and non-technical stakeholdersComfortable working in a site-based, operational environmentWhat’s on offer:Long-term, stable role within a globally recognised industrial engineering businessInvolvement in technically complex, high-value capital projectsA blended role combining engineering delivery with commercial and customer exposureClear progression for engineers with leadership or commercial ambitionCompetitive salary and benefits package
