Roles Available: HGV Class 2 Nights HGV Class 2 - Afternoons HGV Class 1 - Afternoons HGV Class 1 Shunter - Afternoons Shifts: Work available Monday to Sunday Weekend work is required Start Times: Class 2 Night shifts start between 20:00pm - 23:59pm Class 1 & 2 Afternoons shifts start between - 14:00pm - 18:00pm Class 1 Shunter shifts start around 12:00pm Pay Rate: Class 1 Shunter - 17.29 per hour PAYE Class 1 Afternoon - 17.29 per hour PAYE Class 2 Afternoon - 15.60 per hour PAYE Class 2 Nights - 17.59 per hour PAYE Location: Bristol, BS35 Job Type: Ongoing with opportunity for perm The role: Securely moving and transporting palletised parcels to couriers or collecting them from delivery units. Handling runs with 4-5 stops, focusing on safe driving and maintaining accurate paperwork. Drivers may be required to assist with loading and unloading of the vehicle using a tail lift and pump truck. Interacting with customers and representing the company in a professional and courteous manner. Requirements: Full UK driving licence with Class 1 entitlement (category C&E). Full UK driving licence with Class 2 entitlement (category C). 1 months experience required Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card. No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only). Full understanding of WTD legislation. Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position. Excellent communication skills. A safety-first mindset.
