CNC Recruitment are seeking a skilled CNC Miller to join our client in Sherborne areaMake your application after reading the following skill and qualification requirements for this position.- a well-respected engineering company.Job type Full-time, permanent Location Sherborne Working hours Monday to Thursday 7.30am to 4.30pm and Friday 7.30am to 1.00pm Salary- 34,500- 37,000 DOE The Role Our client is looking for a skilled CNC Miller Setter/Operator to join our growing team.This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with a passion for precision engineering and a keen eye for detail.Key Responsibilities Operate and set CNC milling machines to produce components to exact specifications.Read and interpret technical drawings and CAD models.Set up tooling, fixtures, and rotary units for efficient machining processes.Perform routine maintenance to ensure machine reliability.Conduct quality checks using precision measuring instruments.Collaborate with colleagues to assemble and inspect parts as needed.Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment.Support warehouse operations including materials handling and inventory.What Were Looking For Strong mechanical knowledge, particularly in milling and tooling.Experience in a workshop or manufacturing environment.Proficiency in basic maths for accurate measurements and calculations.Experience working with Heidenhain CNC controls is highly desirable.Familiarity with CAD software and logic controllers is a plus.High attention to detail and a commitment to quality. xjdpvnf A proactive, team-oriented attitude.Benefits Flexible working hours to suit individual needs (4 day week available) Performance-based bonus scheme Company pension Death in Service Free on-site parking
