Job Title: Orthopaedic Scrub PractitionersLocation: Central LondonContract Type: PermanentHours: Full-time - Monday to FridaySalary: £38,000-£40,000 (depending on experience)About the Role:We are seeking Orthopaedic Scrub Practitioners to join our clients dedicated theatre team within a private hospital setting, delivering high-quality elective orthopaedic surgery. This role offers the opportunity to work in a calm, well-resourced environment focused on excellent patient outcomes and experience.Key ResponsibilitiesScrub for a range of elective orthopaedic proceduresPrepare and maintain a sterile field in line with hospital policies and best practiceAnticipate the needs of the surgical team to support efficient, high-quality proceduresEnsure correct preparation, handling, and care of orthopaedic instruments and equipmentMaintain accurate clinical documentation and comply with governance and safety standardsWork collaboratively with consultants, anaesthetists, and the wider theatre teamEssential RequirementsMinimum 6 months’ experience as an Orthopaedic Scrub PractitionerRegistered Nurse (NMC) or Operating Department Practitioner (HCPC)Proven experience with orthopaedic instruments and elective proceduresStrong knowledge of infection control and theatre best practiceProfessional, patient-focused approach with excellent communication skillsMust have right to work in UK, as unfortunately the hospital cannot currently offer sponsorship.DesirableExperience in a private hospitalFamiliarity with enhanced recovery pathwaysOur client offersCompetitive salary and benefits packagePredictable elective caseload (no trauma or emergency work)Modern theatres with high-quality equipmentSupportive, professional working environmentOngoing training and development opportunitiesApply Now
