PDI & Quality ManagerHX7 / CW4 | Company Vehicle | Garage EquipmentAre you a quality-driven professional with strong technical knowledge and a passion for getting products right before they reach the customer? Our client is looking for a PDI & Quality Manager to lead their presale inspection and quality processes across a wide range of garage equipment.This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll oversee inspections, compliance, testing, and continuous improvement — ensuring every product meets regulatory requirements, company standards, and customer expectations.Reporting directly to the Head of Technical & Training, you’ll work closely with multiple departments and manage an established PDI team.What You’ll Be DoingLeading and managing the PDI department, ensuring efficient and consistent operationsOwning the New Product Introduction (NPI) process from a quality and compliance perspectiveConducting product testing and collaborating with manufacturers on R&D and product improvementsManaging CE marking and government approvals, ensuring full complianceCarrying out regular batch testing to maintain quality standardsProviding technical input to sales, marketing, warranty, and supplier development teamsSupporting sales and marketing with technical advice, specifications, and product recommendationsBuilding strong working relationships with suppliers, manufacturers, and product managersWorking closely with the Technical & Training departmentCreating, updating, and maintaining RAMS for new and existing productsDeveloping and improving PDI processes and proceduresInspecting returned parts and equipment in line with warranty processesManaging quarantined stock and repair activitiesSupporting the wider business with additional duties as requiredWhat We’re Looking ForProven experience in quality, inspection, or technical managementStrong knowledge of a wide range of equipment (garage or industrial equipment preferred)Ability to commute between Head Office (HX7) and NDC (CW4)Experience working with or alongside a technical training function (desirable)Exceptional attention to detail — a forensic approach to accuracy and qualityStrong communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionallyConfident team leader with a proactive, problem-solving mindsetWhat You’ll GetCompetitive Pension PlanLife AssuranceEmployee Assistance Programme (family cover included)25 days holiday (rising to 26 days after 5 years) plus bank holidaysMedicash health benefitsCompany vehicleThis is a great opportunity to take ownership of quality and compliance within a growing, technically focused business — where your expertise will directly impact customer satisfaction and product performance.The Curve Group is a dynamic Recruitment Services and Human Resources business with an ongoing mission to transform the working lives of the people it does business with.Our full Privacy Policy is available at
