As part of our continuous commitment to maintaining standards and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, we are seeking a diligent and experienced Compliance Manager to join our team.Apply now, read the job details by scrolling down Double check you have the necessary skills before sending an application.Role Overview:The Quality & Compliance Manager willsupport theday to daymanagement ofthecompliance team, coordinate the delivery of effective compliance systemsthat enable departments tomeet statutory, regulatory, and sector-wide obligations.They willsupport the development andimplementationof policies, processes, qualityenhancements, student and staff surveys,and good governanceacrossthe college.The compliance manager will have a strong understanding of processes,risk management, and regulatory assurance.The Quality & Compliance Manager will have good stakeholder management and communication skills,able to communicate effectively with a wide range of academic andnon academicstakeholders.The Quality & Compliance Manager will have a goodabilityof team management,time management.and working to deadlines.Key Responsibilities:Implement andmonitorcompliance frameworks, internal controls, reporting systems and surveys.Manage, mentor, and develop the Compliance Officer and promote a culture of accountability.Support risk management, business continuity, and alignment across departments and campuses.Prepare and present compliance reports; support audits and governance reviews.Optimise compliance systems and processes, including digital tools and automation.Provide guidance, training, and advice to embed compliance awareness across the college.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of HEsectorregulations and best practice.Support data protection, digitaltransformation, and quality governanceacrossthe college.Person SpecificationDegree or equivalent experience; postgraduate qualification or professional certification desirable.Strong understanding of compliance frameworks, risk management, and HE regulations (OfS, HESA, UKVI).Proven experience leading compliance/risk functions and managing teams.Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and analytical skills.Ability to work strategically for short and longtermprojects and deliverables.Highly organised with project/task managementand process improvementexpertise.AttributesProactive, strategic thinker with integrity, collaborative mindset, and a commitment toquality and enhancement. xjdpvnf This role is based Full Time Onsite in ManchesterKindly note that we are currently not in position to offer any sponsorships for this role.
