Our evidence-based approach and commitment to continuously challenge possibilities ensures our mobility solutions prioritise the wellbeing and long-term health of our users.Through science, technology, and maintaining a clear focus on people, we make mobility possible.We have a fantastic opportunity for a Graduate Prosthetist/Orthotist to join our existing team based at the Northern General Hospital, Sheffield.As a Graduate Prosthetist/Orthotist you will work as an integral member of a strong MDT in this busy centre, where you will have the opportunity to further develop your experience in all areas of prosthetics. The team supports innovation including scanning and service development through evaluation, patient engagement, outcomes, and research.The roleKey duties:Assessing, measuring, casting, fitting, delivering, reviewing, and adjusting prosthesis as required across a range of amputation levels.Managing patient expectations, ensuring needs are respected and that the patient is kept fully informed.Maintaining appropriate clinical notes and recordsMaintaining an up to date Continuing Professional Development (CPD) PortfolioParticipating in postgraduate training courses arranged by the company or local centre.Attending meetings and conferences.What are we looking for?As a Graduate Prosthetist you will have the following.Key skillsDegree qualified in Prosthetics and Orthotics, or equivalent.HCPC registrationBAPO or ISPO (desirable).Experience in lower limb prostheticsExperience in delivering a range of prosthetic clinics.Experience or have a desire to be involved in audit or service evaluation.What can we offer you?
