Owen Daniels are supporting a leading manufacturer within the precision engineering and advanced manufacturing sector is seeking an experienced Senior Quality Engineer to join their growing quality team. The business supplies high-integrity components and systems into demanding industries such as aerospace, HVAC, energy, heat exchangers, and industrial manufacturing, where quality, compliance, and continuous improvement are critical.This is a key role offering autonomy, visibility across the business, and the opportunity to influence quality strategy at both operational and senior levels.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and support quality assurance activities across manufacturing and supply chain operationsAct as the technical quality authority for internal teams, customers, and suppliersManage and resolve non-conformances, root cause analysis, and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA)Drive continuous improvement using tools such as 8D, FMEA, SPC, and Pareto analysisSupport and lead internal and external audits (ISO 9001 / AS9100 or equivalent)Oversee supplier quality, including supplier audits and performance improvementReview and approve FAIRs, inspection plans, control plans, and quality documentationSupport NPI and engineering change activities from a quality perspectiveMentor and guide junior quality engineers and inspectors as requiredRequirementsProven experience in a Senior Quality Engineer or similar roleBackground in manufacturing, machining, aerospace, HVAC, defence, or precision engineeringStrong working knowledge of ISO 9001 and/or AS9100Confident using quality tools: 8D, FMEA, SPC, PPAP, RCCAAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&TStrong stakeholder management skills with customers and suppliersComfortable working in a hands-on, shop-floor-based environmentRight to work in the UKTo be considered for the Senior Quality Engineer position, please apply now.
