we are looking for a experienced and skilled team leader within and Environmental based Company, Location: [ Cambridge] Hours: [e.g. 40 hours per week, MondayFriday] About the Role We are looking for a reliable and motivated Team Leader to oversee the delivery, exchange, and retrieval of wheeled bins and waste containers across our service area. You will lead a small operational team, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard of customer service. Key Responsibilities Supervise and support a team carrying out wheeled bin and container deliveries and collections Plan daily workloads, routes, and schedules Ensure all work is completed in line with health 'safety procedures Monitor productivity, quality, and service standards Act as the first point of contact for operational issues and customer queries Carry out on-site checks and provide hands-on support when required Ensure accurate record keeping and reporting Support training and development of team members About You Previous experience in a supervisory or team leader role (waste, logistics, distribution, or manual services desirable) Good understanding of health 'safety in an operational environment Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Ability to work outdoors and support physical work when required Full UK driving licence (essential); LGV licence desirable but not essential Basic IT skills for reporting and scheduling What We Offer Stable employment within essential environmental services Competitive pay and overtime opportunities Training and career progression opportunities PPE and equipment provided Supportive team environment TPBN1_UKTJ
