This role is key to managing customer relationships and coordinating projects from initial brief through to production and delivery.The RoleManage customer accounts and act as the main point of contact throughout live projectsTake client briefs and translate requirements into clear project plansProcess and raise purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and timely placementWork closely with design, estimating, and production teams to ensure smooth project deliveryMonitor timelines, budgets, and project progress to meet demanding deadlinesInterpret technical drawings and manufacturing specificationsSkills & ExperienceAround 3–8 years’ experience within a manufacturing or retail-focused environmentStrong understanding of manufacturing processes including joinery, metal fabrication, and plasticsConfident reading and working from technical drawingsProficient in Microsoft Excel and Word, with experience using business or accounting software (e.g. Sage or similar)Highly organised with strong attention to detail and commercial awarenessPersonal AttributesReactive and adaptable in a fast-moving environmentStrong communication and relationship management skillsA proactive, collaborative team playerPackageSalary £30,000 – £45,000 per annum depending on experience and qualificationsMonday to Friday working patternSupportive team environment with opportunity for long-term progression
