Quality Inspector – ManufacturingLocation: Reading, BerkshireSalary: £32,000 – £35,000 per annumJob Type: Permanent, Full-Time We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturing business in Reading who are looking to add an experienced Quality Inspector to their growing quality team. Key Responsibilities:Carry out inspection of incoming, in-process, and finished componentsInterpret engineering drawings and specificationsUse a range of measuring equipment (e.g. verniers, micrometers, gauges, CMM advantageous)Identify non-conformances and raise quality reportsSupport continuous improvement and root cause analysisWork closely with production and engineering teams to maintain quality standards Requirements:Proven experience as a Quality Inspector within a manufacturing environmentStrong understanding of engineering drawings and tolerancesExperience using manual inspection tools (CMM experience is a plus)Knowledge of ISO quality standards preferredHigh attention to detail and strong problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a team
