Vickerstock are proud to be working in partnership with a growing and forward-thinking organisation to recruit an Accounts Payable Manager. Due to continued growth and success, this is a newly created opportunity within the finance team. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing the end-to-end accounts payable function, leading a team, and driving the implementation of a new ERP system. This role offers the opportunity to make a real impact on finance operations while contributing to the wider success of the business. Key Responsibilities Full responsibility for the end-to-end accounts payable process Manage and develop the accounts payable team, overseeing day-to-day operations Collaborate with internal departments to ensure timely and accurate processing and payment of invoices Ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end close activities for accounts payable Review supplier statement reconciliations, identifying issues and taking appropriate corrective action Maintain accurate and up-to-date supplier records Ensure compliance with internal company policies and HMRC regulations Support external audits by providing documentation and responding to queries as required Lead and support the ERP implementation for the accounts payable function Processing of supplier credit notes The Person Proven experience managing the end-to-end accounts payable function Previous experience leading or supervising an accounts payable team Strong working knowledge of accounts payable controls, reconciliations, and compliance Experience or exposure to ERP systems, with involvement in system implementation highly desirable Highly organised with excellent attention to detail Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with suppliers and internal stakeholders Proactive, solutions-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment What's on Offer Opportunity to join a growing business during an exciting period of change A key role within the finance department with real influence on systems and processes Competitive salary and benefits package To speak in absolute confidence about this opportunity please send an up to date CV via the link provided or contact Ruairi McCann, Recruitment Manager at Vickerstock on .
