Logistics Specialist As The Protein Works continues to scale, we are expanding our Supply Chain team at our state-of-the-art Speke, Liverpool campus. We are seeking an experienced Logistics or Supply Chain professional from aFood or FMCG backgroundwho is motivated to grow, take ownership, and thrive in a fast-paced, high-performing environment. This role is critical to ensuring the smooth end-to-end movement of goods across our international supply chain, with a strong focus onproducts of animal origin (PoAO)and global trade compliance. Key Responsibilities End-to-end management ofexports of Products of Animal Origin (PoAO)from the UK to the EU Day-to-day account management oftwo 3PL partners, ensuring strong performance and collaboration Full account management of allfreight forwarders, including performance tracking and escalation Provide, track, and challengeforecasts, ensuring adherence by forwarders Ownership ofSLA performanceacross 3PLs and forwarders Ensure allimport and export documentation and certificationsare accurate, compliant, and available Day-to-day management of allcourier relationships Drivecontinuous improvementacross logistics, cost, service, and compliance Non-Negotiable Experience Extensive experience exportingproducts of animal origin and composite products Extensive experience exporting to theEU and US Extensive experience importing from theEU and Asia Proven3PL vendor managementexperience Strong understanding of international trade compliance and customs processes Desirable Qualifications Chamber of Commerce qualifications Degree educated, preferably inLogistics, Supply Chain, or a related discipline Why Join The Protein Works?
