We are looking for an EDA CAD Engineer to join our growing deep tech client based in Berkshire, Southern England.As an expanding high-tech scale-up, our client is offering a superb opportunity for an EDA CAD Engineer who is interested in working across advanced chip and system-level projects. Working as a key member of the mixed-signal IC team, the EDA CAD Engineer will:Manage and maintain the company EDA environment, including the support of tools such as Cadence Virtuoso and Siemens Calibre/AFSDesign, automate, and validate robust CAD flows for simulation, physical verification, parasitic extraction, and reliability analysisContribute to the installation, qualification, and deployment of PDKs for advanced technology nodesCollaborate with circuit designers, layout engineers, test teams and external EDA vendors, and really broaden technical experience and problem-solving skillsAs the right candidate you will have a strong working background in EDA / CAD as well as PDK development, with several years’ experience behind you in industry. A solid understanding of CAD flows is essential, as are hands-on scripting skills.
