Field-Based Garage Equipment Installation Engineer Pay: 36,000.0050,000.00 per year (including overtime potential) We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Field-Based Installation Engineer to join a growing installation team due to sustained demand for new garage equipment. This is a field-based role installing a wide range of equipment within the vehicle repair and maintenance sector. Location Stoke-On-Trent and Surrounding Areas Salary Up to 36,000 basic salary , depending on skills and experience, with overtime available increasing earnings up to 50,000 per annum About the Role Our client is a leading UK provider of garage equipment solutions, supplying, installing, and servicing equipment for fast-fit centres, independent garages, and commercial fleet operators. As an Installation Engineer , you will be responsible for the installation and commissioning of new garage equipment, working to site specifications and engineering standards while delivering an excellent customer experience. Key Responsibilities Install a wide range of garage equipment including vehicle lifts, brake testers, tyre changers, gas analysers, and smoke testers Work from site specifications and scale CAD drawings to ensure accurate installations Maintain control of van stock to achieve first-time fix targets Ensure all installations are completed safely and to a high professional standard Accurately follow procedures, work instructions, and health & safety requirements Deliver excellent customer service at all times Be prepared for occasional overnight stays and paid overtime when required Continuously develop technical skills through ongoing training About You Proven experience in installation and/or plant maintenance activities, ideally within a field service environment Strong electro-mechanical knowledge (mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, or pneumatic systems) Ability to read and interpret site specifications and CAD drawings Self-motivated with a positive, problem-solving can do attitude Able to work independently and manage workload effectively Committed to delivering high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction Full UK driving licence required Benefits Company van, uniform, PPE, mobile phone, and tablet provided Life assurance Employee wellbeing package 33 days annual leave (including bank holidays), increasing with length of service Enhanced company sick pay (after qualifying period) Ongoing training and career development opportunities TPBN1_UKTJ
