Process Engineer Adept Resourcing are recruiting on behalf of a well established specialist manufacturing business based in Sheffield, operating within advanced manufacturing and materials processing. This is a hands on Process Engineer role supporting the development, optimisation, and delivery of complex manufacturing processes, working across production, engineering, and customer facing technical activities. The Role You will join a multidisciplinary technical team responsible for supporting manufacturing operations, process development, and the delivery of engineered systems to customers in the UK and internationally. The role offers exposure to high temperature processes, complex plant systems, and data driven process optimisation, alongside involvement in commissioning, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement activities. Key Responsibilities Support process development and optimisation within a manufacturing environment Analyse process and production data to improve efficiency, yield, and quality Work with engineering teams on process improvements and plant modifications Support production teams with new product and process introduction Assist with troubleshooting of complex process equipment and associated systems Produce technical reports and documentation for internal and external use Contribute to customer-facing technical support, training, and site activities Support project delivery activities, including commissioning and start-up support Candidate Profile Degree-qualified in Engineering, Materials, Manufacturing, or a related discipline Experience in a process engineering or industrial manufacturing environment Strong analytical and problem-solving capability Comfortable working with complex, safety-critical or high-temperature processes Able to communicate technical information clearly and professionally Willingness to travel occasionally as required by project needs Desirable Experience Manufacturing process development or optimisation Working with thermal processes, fluids, or complex industrial systems Exposure to plant equipment, P&IDs, or industrial controls Experience in regulated or quality-driven manufacturing environments What's on Offer Salary of up to 50k depending on experience Bonus and benefits package Long-term career development in a technically focused business Opportunity to work on complex, varied engineering challenges At Adept Resourcing - Commercial & Engineering, we specialise in connecting companies with top talent that drives innovation, growth and success.
