Gas & Plumbing Supervisor £30 per hour Reading We are seeking an experienced Trade Supervisor – Gas & Plumbing to lead gas engineers, plumbers, and specialist subcontractors delivering repairs, servicing, and maintenance across housing stock. This is a hands-on supervisory role focused on keeping homes safe, warm, and compliant while maintaining high standards of workmanship and customer service. Key Responsibilities Oversee allocation and sequencing of gas and plumbing works Monitor productivity, quality, and performance Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with health & safety and gas safety legislation Supervise operatives on site; deliver toolbox talks and 1:1s Check van stock, tools, and equipment Provide technical guidance to ensure work is completed right first time and within deadlines Requirements Qualified Gas & Plumbing professional Current domestic gas certifications: CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, HTR1, CPA1 Recognised apprenticeship or City & Guilds qualification Strong technical knowledge and leadership skills Ability to assess performance, manage compliance, and supervise operatives and subcontractors Good communication skills and IT proficiency Experience in a responsive repairs environment   Contact (url removed) (phone number removed)
