Job Role: Quality Inspector Location: Mansfield Hours: Monday to Thursday 07.15am until 16.00pm Friday 07.15am until 15.00pm Role Purpose We’re looking for a meticulous and proactive Quality Inspector to ensure that all products, processes, and workmanship meet internal standards and customer expectations. This role plays a key part in inspection, documentation, and driving continuous improvement across operations. Key Responsibilities Carry out in‑process and final inspections of products, components, and assemblies Verify compliance with drawings, specifications, procedures, and quality standards Identify and document non‑conformances, escalating issues where required Support root‑cause analysis and contribute to corrective and preventive actions Maintain accurate inspection records and quality documentation Work collaboratively with production, engineering, and quality teams to resolve issues Ensure correct use and calibration of measuring and inspection equipment Assist with internal audits and continuous improvement activities Promote a strong quality and safety culture across the site Skills & Experience Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications Good understanding of welding processes PCN or CSWIP welding inspection knowledge or qualification Familiarity with inspection techniques and quality tools Competent in using measuring equipment such as verniers, micrometers, and gauges High attention to detail with strong problem‑solving ability Clear written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently as well as part of a wider team About ford & Stanley groupFord & Stanley Talent Services Group are in the business of people and performance.
