Wood CNC Machinist – Doncaster (DN9) We’re looking for an experienced Wood CNC Machinist to join a well-established manufacturing business based in Doncaster (DN9). This is a stable, long-term role with great hours and competitive pay. Pay & Hours Up to £16.50 per hour, depending on experience Overtime paid at 1.25x Monday to Thursday: 8:00am – 4:30pm Friday: Early finish The Role Operating CNC machinery working primarily with timber and wood-based materials Programming, setting, and operating CNC routers (programming experience a strong advantage) Producing high-quality components to drawings and specifications Carrying out quality checks to ensure accuracy and finish Maintaining a clean and safe working environment What We’re Looking For Proven experience operating wood CNC / CNC routers Strong understanding of timber, sheet materials, and wood machining processes CNC programming knowledge is highly advantageous Ability to read and work from technical drawings Good attention to detail and pride in workmanship What’s On Offer Competitive hourly rate with paid overtime Day shifts only, Monday to Friday Early finish on Fridays for a better work–life balance Friendly, supportive team and long-term job security If you’re a skilled wood CNC machinist looking for a well-paid, steady role with excellent hours, we’d love to hear from you.
