This role will suit a hands-on, lead-from-the-front quality professional with strong systems knowledge and a passion for driving standards, compliance, and continuous improvement. Reporting into senior operations, you'll take ownership of the Quality Management System, lead and develop a small quality team , and work closely with production, engineering, and supply chain to set expectations, challenge standards, and embed a strong quality culture across the site . Quality Manager responsibilities include: Developing, maintaining, and improving quality systems, documentation, procedures, and SOPs. Ensuring compliance with customer requirements, internal standards, and regulatory expectations. Leading internal and external audits, corrective actions, and quality improvement activities. Using data-driven insights to identify trends, address issues, and drive continuous improvement. Managing supplier quality performance, including assessments and ongoing development. Training, coaching, and actively engaging teams on the shop floor to strengthen quality awareness across the site. Quality Manager desirable skills and experience: Experience in a Quality Manager, Quality Lead, or Senior Quality Engineer role. Strong understanding of quality systems, auditing, problem-solving, and regulatory compliance. Proven ability to lead from the front, influence stakeholders, and hold teams to account while building a quality-first culture. Exposure to Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies.
