Area Development Manager Location: London (Home based) Salary: Up to 55,000 per year, plus bonus Hours: 37.5 hours per week Job type: Full-time, permanent Bridge Recruitment is helping one of our established clients recruit an experienced Area Development Manager to join their ever-expanding team. Responsibilities of the Area Development Manager: Develop a network of contacts within the Client, Specification and Tier 1 Contractors and targeted Contracting community, within defined and agreed markets including Power, Rail, Industrial, MOD and MOJ. Identify suitable project opportunities and develop relations with the key decision makers. Positively promote the Companys sustainability credentials and its Powered by Specialists approach. Achieve specified status with key customers, to include product targets identified and agreed. Follow up all project opportunities through to the supply stage. Maintain excellent internal working relations at all relevant levels, especially with other members of the Cable Management sales team, and particularly the Head of Sales. Develop and manage supply chain solutions with major Contractors and their partners and ensure that selected distributors are fully able to support project sales in terms of stock availability and agreed pricing, in conjunction with the relevant Area Sales Manager. Check the progress of all quotations for potential or live projects. Create and maintain project contact and status details in the Companys CRM system. Present CPD courses and product presentations to customers and participate in promotional events. Requirements of the Area Development Manager: Have at least 3 years specification sales experience. The ability to engage with and influence key decision makers, including clients, designers, consultant engineers, contractors. A structured and organised working style with the ability to self-plan and set own priorities. Able to prepare and present information to enable others to generate accurate quotations. Excellent presentations skills. Able and willing to fully engage with the Companys product / solution training programs. Understand the importance of sustainability and be conversant with the necessary legislation. A flexible approach to work and working hours. A solid team ethic.
