Regional Operations Director | Elderly Care HomesLocation: East London & EssexSalary: Up to £85,000 + Car Allowance + Excellent BenefitsAbout the OpportunityCompass Associates have partnered with one of the UK’s most respected care providers in the search for a Regional Operations Director to oversee a portfolio of well-established residential and nursing homes across East London and Essex.This is a high-profile leadership position within the organisation, reporting directly to the Director of Care, where you’ll play a key role in shaping the regional strategy and driving performance, quality, and culture across a group of eight homes.You’ll lead, develop, and inspire a team of experienced Home Managers, ensuring each service consistently delivers exceptional standards of care, operational excellence, and full CQC compliance. The role offers the scope to make a tangible impact on both residents’ lives and the professional growth of your teams.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide strategic leadership across a portfolio of 8 residential care homes, ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and person-centred care.Partner closely with Home Managers, offering guidance, mentorship, and support to achieve operational goals and drive continuous improvement.Take ownership of regional budgets and KPIs, balancing commercial performance with outstanding quality outcomes.Champion CQC compliance and regulatory excellence, ensuring each home exceeds expectations during inspections and audits.Foster a culture of accountability, compassion, and professional development throughout the region.Contribute to wider company initiatives, working collaboratively with the senior leadership team to deliver organisational growth and sustainability.About YouWe’re seeking a strategic, people-driven leader with the credibility and experience to oversee a diverse portfolio of services. You’ll be as comfortable engaging with regulators and senior stakeholders as you are spending time in the homes supporting your managers and teams.Above all, you’ll bring a genuine commitment to delivering outstanding care and empowering others to do the same.Essential RequirementsSignificant experience in a senior regional or operational leadership role within the elderly care sector, doesn’t have to have a NMC Nursing Pin.Proven track record of driving quality and compliance across multiple care homes.In-depth knowledge of CQC frameworks and regulatory standards.Strong financial and commercial acumen.Excellent leadership and communication skills, with a collaborative, supportive approach.Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel across the region.The OfferThis is an opportunity to join a forward-thinking, values-led organisation that invests in its people and empowers its leaders to innovate and grow.
