Due to internal progression, we are looking to recruitan experiencedindividualto join our established team. Reporting to ourGas Qualifying Supervisor,ourGas Engineersprovideassist with the maintenance service and upkeep of the Groups properties specifically in relation to the annual gas servicing, breakdown, and installation ofheating systems. In addition, we are looking for candidates that have apassion to advocate on behalf of people and communities. Whatdo ourGas Engineersdo; Install and upgrade domestic heating systemsin accordance withbusiness schedules and budgets. Carry out the servicing of domestic heating systems. Diagnose and repair faults in domestic heating and plumbing systems and renew heating and plumbing fittings Issue certificates for gas works in line with legislation and the Groups policy and proceduresadvisingthe manager of any problems or issues Carry out all dutiesin accordance withrelevant legislation affecting the sectorin accordance withGas Safe and HSE. On a rota basis, to perform emergency out of hours call out service for the Groups stock. Whatwe are looking for; Hold up to date A.C.O.P.S. certificates and Gas Safe registration for domestic and/or commercial gas. Experience of working as a heating engineer. Experience ofestablishingand developing professional working relationships with internal and external customers, contractors, external partners, and colleagues. Knowledge of working with domesticandcommercialheating systems, diagnosing faults, carrying out repairs and servicing. Full UK Driving Licence. This is a hands-on role at the heart of the service that MSV delivers to our customers, so your effective communication skills and ability to understand with empathy the diverse needs of our customers will be key.Youllbe based in the communities we serve and will work under minimum supervision and as part of a team using a flexible approach.
