HGV Class 2 Moffet Driver People Solutions are currently recruiting for a HGV Class 2 Moffet Driver to join our well-established client based in Wellingborough . Shifts: Monday to Friday Monday to Thursday nights out required Rates of Pay: Basic: 17.00 per hour Benefits: Excellent hourly rates Ongoing work Weekly pay Immediate starts Employee well-being programme Day-to-Day Duties: As a HGV Class 2 Moffet Driver , your duties will include (but not be limited to): Carrying out RDC or brewery deliveries (curtain-side, no handball required) Operating and driving Class 2 vehicles safely and efficiently to and from delivery locations Performing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections Loading and unloading materials (such as insulation and plasterboard) using the truck-mounted forklift Adhering to traffic laws and regulations Communicating effectively with dispatch and customers Reporting any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management Ensuring proper handling and placement of goods at delivery points Essential Skills: A valid UK Category C licence A valid T1 vehicle-mounted lift truck qualification A minimum of 12 months' experience driving Category C vehicles No more than six penalty points for minor infringements, with no major endorsement codes A valid UK CPC card and Digi card Good spoken and written English Punctuality and excellent time-keeping skills A solid understanding of traffic laws and regulations Effective communication skills Desirable Experience: Previous driving experience Training Provided: Driver's assessment must be completed before starting Apply: If you are ready to take on this exciting opportunity as a HGV Class 2 Moffet Driver , apply today by clicking the link below or contact our recruitment team to find out more.
