Air Conditioning Service & Maintenance Engineer £37,500-£48,500 doe Location: Essex & surrounding areas Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Salary: Competitive, depending on experience Company Vehicle Provided About My Client My client are a growing, well-established air conditioning company specialising in commercial and residential installations, servicing, and maintenance. Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit a reliable and experienced Air Conditioning Service & Maintenance Engineer to join their team. The Role You will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance, fault finding, and repairs on a range of air conditioning systems. This role is primarily service and maintenance focused, with occasional minor installation works. Key Responsibilities * Service, maintain, and repair air conditioning systems (split, multi-split, VRV/VRF) * Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs * Complete planned preventative maintenance (PPM) visits * Respond to reactive breakdown calls * Complete job reports and service documentation accurately * Maintain high standards of health & safety and customer service * Communicate professionally with customers and office staff Requirements * Proven experience as an air conditioning service & maintenance engineer * F-Gas Category 1 qualification (essential) * NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration (preferred) * Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills * Full UK driving licence * Ability to work independently and manage workload * Professional, reliable, and customer-focused attitude What They Offer * Competitive salary based on experience * Company van, fuel card, tools, and uniform * Overtime opportunities * Stable, long-term employment with a growing company * Supportive management and well-organised workload * Opportunity for progression as the company grows How to Apply If this sounds like you please send George your cv in the first instance for a discrete chat Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: £37,500.00-£48,500.00 per year
