Job Description

Regular working away from home. West Yorkshire based 25% UK travel 75% PAY AND PACKAGE * £23 per hour for the first 39 hours per week (£46,644 per annum) * Overtime paid at time and a half * Typical earnings with overtime could be up to around £60,000 depending on travel and workload. * Paid travel time * Company van provided * 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, increasing by one day per year up to 28 days * Employer pension contribution of 6 % * Company paid health cash plan * Death in service cover, one times annual salary * All hotels paid when working away * £30 per night food allowance when staying away . OVERVIEW This role sits within a specialist engineering business supplying equipment into the clean and waste water sector. The position involves commissioning, servicing and supporting chemical dosing and treatment systems installed at client sites across the UK. The role is site based for approximately 75% of the time, with the remaining time spent in the workshop or on local projects. Working away from home is a regular part of the role, typically Monday to Friday. ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS * Proven experience within water treatment, chemical dosing or a closely related process environment * Strong electrical background with supporting mechanical knowledge * Experience commissioning and fault finding on MCCs and control panels * Working knowledge of PLC and HMI controlled systems * Experience with three phase and single phase systems, including DOL and VSD drives * Hands on experience with field instrumentation such as flow meters, dosing pumps, pressure devices, valves and actuators * Ability to carry out point to point wiring checks between panels and field devices * Good understanding of digital and analogue signals * Able to read and interpret electrical schematics, P and ID drawings, loop diagrams and technical documentation * Understanding of control philosophies and functional design specifications * 18th Edition BS7671 * Good health and safety awareness * Full UK driving licence * Comfortable working independently once trained * Professional and confident in customer facing environments * Computer literate, including Microsoft Office MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES * Commissioning new systems and equipment at customer sites * Carrying out service, maintenance and repair work on existing installations * Fault finding and responding to breakdowns * Supporting factory and site acceptance testing * Training customer operators on new equipment * Completing commissioning and service documentation * Working closely with internal engineering and projects teams Please contact Adam Dyson for further details and apply online.
