This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Accountant who thrives in a fast-paced, values-driven environment. This position offers a varied role covering financial and management accounting and would suit individuals from both Practice or industry. Salary is up to 45,000 + 36 days annual leave, hybrid working (1 day a week from home) and an early finish on a Friday. This is also the potential for part time for the right individual with flexibility on days worked and start and finish times.The OpportunityReporting directly to the Head of Finance, you will play a key role in the delivery of monthly management accounts, cashflow forecasting and VAT submissions, whilst supporting ongoing business initiatives and finance projects and supervising a busy transactional finance team.This hands-on role will be well-suited to a pro-active Accountant who can manage a busy and varied workload to tight deadlines.Key responsibilities:Preparation of monthly management accounts including variance analysisWeekly cashflow forecastingWeekly KPI reportingManage VAT returnsBalance sheet reconciliationsOversee daily accounting operations across payroll, purchase ledge and income processingSupport the Head of Finance with ongoing projects and process improvementsStaff mentoring including training and supportThe CandidateYou will be Qualified, Part-Qualified or Qualified by experience accountant with strong experience preparing management accounts.You will ideally have experience in staff supervision or mentoring but this is not essential.
