We are seeking aDeputy Head Teacher for our Holy Cross Primary School, nursery to P7 and be committed to their continuity of learning while inspiring them to engage actively and joyfully in their education. As part of our dynamic teaching team, you will: Deliver leadership, engaging, high-quality learning experiences across a range of curricular areas. Foster positive relationships built on kindness, mutual respect, and care for others. Promote a culture of responsibility - encouraging learners to take ownership of their learning and actions. Collaborate with colleagues to plan, evaluate, and adapt learning experiences to meet the needs of all pupils. Contribute to our warm, inclusive school ethos, where every child feels valued and supported.We are looking for a teacher who: Brings energy, enthusiasm, and creativity to their teaching. At Holy Cross RC Primary School,you'll be part of a school community that values teamwork, professional learning, and the wellbeing of both staff and pupils. Teachers are responsible for seeking approval of the Bishop of a Diocese for appointment to any post in a Catholic School in that area. For details on how to seek approval please go to post is regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. Where an individual has spent a continuous period of 3 months or more out with the UK in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required. You will be required to provide this check.
